Delicious Dev Report #7 - Ballad of the Ballot

Exactly one week ago today Pat posted the above neat pic of the Champs to celebrate having them all being playable in the current build of the game, a momentous occasion! So far Pat has done all the coding/ modeling/ rigging /animation and shows no signs of slowing down, so he is truly deserving of praise.  It was after posting this group shot that he was inspired by the Shonen Jump character polls featured in the magazine which were used to gauge who the readers favorite characters are. So in an attempt to find out which of the 4 Champs was the public's favorite, he put together a poll on twitter.  

This is all a learning experience and no one appreciates brevity and concise presentation more than me, but I feel like the results would've been different had the voting period lasted longer and the names of the characters been included (or a description letting people know they were voting for a fighter and not the food itself.)  The winner ended up being Pizza, the only thing every good human can agree on as being the best food. The results inspired me to do an illustration reflecting the results, originally I was just going to draw all the characters at scales relative to the percent of votes they had received. This is what informed the following 'Mini-Fortress' illustration below.

Eventually I finished the slice wins group pic, and here it is for the enjoyment of everyone who voted for Slice!
